New Federal Director

I am delighted to inform members and supporters of the Liberal Party across Australia that the Federal Executive of the Party, at its meeting today, unanimously appointed Tony Nutt to succeed Brian Loughnane as Federal Director of our Party.

Tony brings unique experience to the role, having served in an unprecedented number of positions across the party for over 30 years.

As President I am delighted Tony has accepted this important responsibility, and with members across Australia, I look forward to working with him as we prepare for the coming Federal election.

Tony will formally succeed Brian in the near future once he has finalised his current commitments as NSW State Director.

The Party is also indebted for the long and meritous service of Brian Loughnane who has been a superlative Federal Director. To have been in a very challenging and high profile position for more than twelve years requires both great skill and enormous commitment. We again wish Brian well in his next career.
