About Leon

Leon Rebello is a strong local voice that will deliver for McPherson.

He brings experience from both the private and public sectors.

Leon is a solicitor at a top tier Australian law firm, specialising in foreign investment. He previously served on the ministerial staff of former Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop.

He has Law and International Relations degrees and has studied in Australia, France and the Netherlands.

Leon has deep connections with the McPherson community, supporting schools, community organisations, small businesses and social groups. He will be a strong community voice.

As a young member of Peter Dutton’s team, Leon will also be a strong advocate for young people trying to get ahead.

Leon is committed to addressing the real issues that locals are facing, especially cost of living, and returning a common-sense approach to government.

As a local involved in the community, Leon will protect the Gold Coast lifestyle and will listen to and fight for his community.
