About Jacinta
Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price is a proud Territorian, a CLP Senator for the NT and Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians.
Jacinta is a former small business owner and a former Deputy Mayor of Alice Springs Town Council. She has also served as a former Director of Indigenous Research at the Centre for Independent Studies and as a spokesperson and media contributor.
Jacinta has for many years advocated against domestic violence and the need for positive cultural change. Throughout the platforms of television, visual art, music, women’s AFL and local government, Jacinta has worked with a number of initiatives to empower young Indigenous children, girls and women.
Jacinta is passionate about driving our economy to work for us all and continues to fight to maintain our rich Australian values for the benefit of all Territorians and Australians alike.
