Biography

Zoe lives in Sorrento and is deeply engaged with the local community.

Until nomination, she served the board of the Committee for Mornington Peninsula and has worked with the Mornington Peninsula Foundation to address disadvantage around Rosebud, Capel Sound, Western Port and Hastings.

Zoe has also been a pivotal member of the Spider Crabs Alliance to protect the local marine environment. The campaign to save the giant iconic spider crabs has been recognised by Sir David Attenborough.

Zoe has worked in trade and investment helping to build jobs and prosperity through Australia’s Free Trade Agreement network. She has worked in communications, helping to ensure a dependable broadband service that has seen our region through the worst of Victoria’s world’s longest lockdown.

She has also worked in education, supporting Technical Colleges and young Australians through their trade apprenticeships.

She has also practised as a lawyer in employment, privacy and equal opportunity.

Her fiancé Rod is a commercial barrister, and father to three teenagers.

Greg Hunt has been an outstanding Member for Flinders, and Zoe is determined to build on his work.
