Maggie Forrest is the Liberal National candidate for Ryan.

Maggie is a local barrister and was born and bred in Brisbane.

With law and criminology degrees from the University of Queensland and Cambridge, Maggie is a strong advocate for justice.

Her work has seen her fight for important issues locally and overseas, including for the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia at The Hague.

Maggie hopes to bring the advocacy skills and experience she has developed to listen and stand up for our community on the issues that matter.

Maggie and her husband Christopher are raising a young family. They understand first-hand the challenges of managing a household budget in the face of rising cost of living pressures.

Maggie is committed to listening to residents of the local community in which she grew up in and advocating on their behalf.
