Angie Bell is a marketing professional, author, and small business woman. As a proud Gold Coaster, Angie will fight to make the community an even better place for local families to live and work.

Coming from three generations of factory workers, Angie knows the importance of hard work and opportunity. Throughout her career, she has worked with many small businesses to help them grow and create jobs.

Angie has also been active within the LNP and has served as the President of LNP Women.

Passionate about the Gold Coast and its future, Angie will support and see through to completion the projects that are underway to make getting around the Coast easier, including extending the light rail and fixing the M1.

With the high number of retirees on the Coast, Angie is committed to stopping Bill Shorten’s retiree tax because of the devastating effect it will have on the local community.

Angie believes in supporting people who are having a go and trying to get ahead and is opposed to Labor punishing retirees, small businesses and hard working families.

Angie wants to be part of a government that will keep our economy strong, protect our unique lifestyle, and guarantee quality services and infrastructure for our growing community. And that’s what she will deliver.

Since becoming Prime Minister I have travelled to drought-affected communities, talking to farmers and engaging with communities. Our farmers and graziers are the best in the world. They are doing it tough, and we are on their side. That's why we passed the Future Drought Fund through the House last night, which will provide $5 billion in permanent funding support for drought resilience projects all around Australia.

Amazing to meet Scarlett and Anna with Katie Allen MP this morning to announce our Government will expand the PBS listing of the medicine Kalydeco for infants, helping children living with Cystic Fibrosis. It will save families up to $300,000 a year, taking it down to as little as $6.50 a script. Improving the lives of children like Scarlett and Anna are the inspiring reason we do our jobs as parliamentarians.

Our farmers are the best in the world despite years of drought and hardship. That’s why today at the Daily Telegraph’s Bush Summit in Dubbo, I announced that our Government is committed to take our agricultural sector to a $100 billion industry by 2030.
