Biography

Angie Bell is a marketing professional, author, and small business woman. As a proud Gold Coaster, Angie will fight to make the community an even better place for local families to live and work.

Coming from three generations of factory workers, Angie knows the importance of hard work and opportunity. Throughout her career, she has worked with many small businesses to help them grow and create jobs.

Angie has also been active within the LNP and has served as the President of LNP Women.

Passionate about the Gold Coast and its future, Angie will support and see through to completion the projects that are underway to make getting around the Coast easier, including extending the light rail and fixing the M1.

With the high number of retirees on the Coast, Angie is committed to stopping Bill Shorten’s retiree tax because of the devastating effect it will have on the local community.

Angie believes in supporting people who are having a go and trying to get ahead and is opposed to Labor punishing retirees, small businesses and hard working families.

Angie wants to be part of a government that will keep our economy strong, protect our unique lifestyle, and guarantee quality services and infrastructure for our growing community. And that’s what she will deliver.

"We’re providing $314 billion in economic support and are committed to keeping people in jobs and businesses in business." - Josh Frydenberg

A further 1 million tests for #COVID19 have been done in Australia in the past two weeks, bringing our total tests since this global pandemic began to more than 5 million. Our testing rates continue to be one of the highest in the world and one of the lowest positive return rates, at just 0.4 per cent. The key to staying on top of any outbreaks is testing, tracing and isolating. So if you’re sick and have any symptoms, stay home and get tested. We all must remain disciplined when it comes to being out and about. Practice good hygiene, keep physical distance, and have the COVIDSafe app on your phone. A lot of people are doing it really tough right now so please check in on your friends, family and neighbours and continue to look after each other. Together we will get through this.
