Our Plan

“Our party must unapologetically defend Australian values.

I want our country to once again be one of opportunity and aspiration, of freedom and safety.

We must restore Australia to a country where life is affordable, where our kids can buy a home, where you can raise a family, and where there’s a fair go once again – a country of strength and unity.

Many of us have known this Australia before.

I want us all to know that Australian dream again.

All Australians, especially young Australians, deserve the stability that comes from owning a home and the opportunity it provides.

We will re-establish home ownership as the centrepiece of the Australian dream.

We will stand for an immigration policy that’s in the interests of Australians and that puts Australian values at the centre of that policy.

Immigration numbers have been too high.

Immigration standards have been too low.

And both must change.

The Liberals will put Australian values at the centre of immigration policy.

If someone doesn’t subscribe to our core beliefs – the door will be shut.

If someone wants to import the hatreds and violence of other places onto our soil – the door will be shut.

As Liberals, we stand for lower inflation, lower interest rates and lower taxes.

The Liberal Party will always be the party of lower taxes.

We will ferociously fight Labor’s bad taxes – including a tax on your home, a tax on your super, a tax on you and your children’s future.

We know government must live within its means – so Australians have the means to live.

Moreover, our goal is to grow the economy so that it delivers for you.

And renew the conditions that see confident investment in the future of the nation.

Australians need an energy policy based on common sense – not Labor’s flawed Net Zero ideology.

We will get rid of Labor’s carbon taxes that are pushing up the cost of food, cars and housing.

We will reduce financial pressures for families, expand child care choice and give children the best start in life, not force every family into a universal system.

And we will properly fund our Defence Force to deter threats and aggression in this uncertain world.
