About Jacinta
Jacinta Nampijinpa Price is the Country Liberal Party Senator for the Northern Territory.
Jacinta is a proud Territorian.
She is a former small business owner and a former Deputy Mayor of Alice Springs Town Council. She has also served as a former Director of Indigenous Research at the Centre for Independent Studies and as a spokesperson and media contributor.
Jacinta has advocated against domestic violence and the need for positive cultural change. Through the platforms of television, visual art, music, women’s AFL and local government, Jacinta has worked on a number of initiatives to empower young Indigenous children, girls and women.
Jacinta is passionate about driving our economy to work for us all and continues to fight to maintain our rich Australian values for the benefit of all Territorians and Australians alike.
