    Climate Change Minister Greg Combet is so desperate to find friends for his carbon tax, he’s trying to recruit me. Well he’s looking for friends in all the wrong places.

    Sorry Mr Combet. The Coalition does not and will not support a carbon tax.

    As I have repeatedly said, the Coalition’s Direct Action climate plan would offer a financial incentive to reduce carbon emissions. It would not levy a tax on carbon emissions.
