The Hunter will suffer the greatest job losses under Labor’s Carbon Tax according to new figures from the NSW Treasury.
The independent modelling reveals jobs losses across the state will reach 31,000 with more than half occurring in the Hunter.
18,500 jobs will go in the Hunter region as the impact of Labor’s Carbon Tax is felt across the mining and electricity generation industry.
This will be a major blow to local business and families.

The latest figures show power costs will go up 15 per cent.
