About Zahid

Zahid Safi is the Liberal Candidate for Bruce.

Zahid will listen to the community and champion their issues. He will fight for better access to mental health services, real cost of living relief, and improved community safety across the Bruce electorate.

Zahid was born in Afghanistan before moving to Finland where he completed his education, including a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Zahid chose to settle in Australia and raise a family because of the sense of belonging he felt when he saw the opportunities on offer to people from diverse backgrounds.

Zahid is passionate about making it easier for people to get help and access for mental health challenges.

Zahid is a self-employed businessman, who lives in Endeavour Hills with his wife Zinab and their six children. Zahid understands how the rising cost of living is hurting families and will fight to deliver real cost of living real relief.
