About John

John Fletcher is the Liberal candidate for Gorton.

John is standing up for his community, which is tired of being let down by Labor.

John started on the shop floor thirty years ago and is now an electrical wholesaler. He serves customers each day from all backgrounds, from mums and dads looking to replace their kitchen down light, to businesses of all sizes that employ locals from his community.

John and his wife Carol are feeling the pressures of Australia’s housing crisis in their own home as they accommodate adult family members who are saving for a first home.

He is committed to delivering lower inflation, affordable homes, and making our community safer.
