About Claire
Claire Moody is the Liberal candidate for Brand.
Claire has been part of the local community for over 30 years. Born and raised in WA as the oldest of four siblings, family and community have always been central to her life.
She attended local schools, started her first job, and built her career in Brand. Claire’s professional experience has equipped her with practical leadership skills and a solid understanding of what it takes to drive change and find real-world solutions.
Through her involvement in local community organisations, she has seen first-hand that the most valuable contributions come from time and effort. Claire believes in rolling up her sleeves and getting involved, just like many in the community, to strengthen the area.
She is running to represent the community because she understands the unique challenges and opportunities that Brand faces. Claire is committed to being a strong voice for the people, advocating for fairness, integrity, and accountability.
She has listened to the community’s concerns about access to healthcare, job security, the rising cost of living, and housing affordability. Brand faces challenges such as strained healthcare services, law and order issues impacting all areas, and a housing crisis affecting many families.
With Australia’s largest Navy base located in Brand, Claire believes the future opportunities that AUKUS presents need to be seized much more effectively. Claire is here to listen, work for the community, and take their voice to Canberra.
Together, she hopes to build a stronger, safer, and better Brand.
