Biography

Terry Young is a small business owner, who was raised in Kallangur. He realised how hard it can be in a small business after opening his Chandler’s store in 1992.

Terry has always been a big believer in small businesses getting involved in the community. Terry built a reputation as someone who was always willing to donate goods to charities and sponsor local sporting teams.

His love for our local community has motivated Terry to run for Longman. He wants to keep supporting the region by fighting for their fair share from Canberra.

The Liberal National Government has been delivering for our community with: road upgrades to ease congestion; expanding the sawmill to support local jobs; cracking down on crime by supporting the Domestic Violence Support Unit; and establishing a new drug rehabilitation facility. There’s more to be done and locals need someone like Terry who can be counted on to get the job done.

Anthony Albanese has still not learnt the lessons of Labor’s policy failures and the need for a consistent approach on border protection.

What’s more, the most serious offenders could be jailed for life under our new laws we’re going to introduce to Parliament next week.
