About Paul
Paul Darwen is the LNP candidate for Rankin.
Paul grew up on a mango farm in north Queensland, where he developed a strong interest in family-run businesses.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and theoretical physics, then completed a PhD in artificial intelligence. He has worked as a researcher, in start-ups, and now as a university lecturer.
Paul believes the Albanese Labor Government has failed Rankin. Inflation is high, energy prices are up, rents are rising, and the cost of living is hurting local families.
Rankin has a chance to send a clear message about Labor’s poor handling of the economy. As part of the LNP team, Paul will help get Australia back on track.
