Our plan TO

FIX THE ECONOMY.
PROTECT OUR WAY OF LIFE.

The Coalition will restore our standard of living and put Australians first.

Under Labor, Australians have experienced the worst collapse in living standards in the developed world.

Government spending is at a 40-year high outside the pandemic, fuelling inflation, higher interest rates and a cost-of-living crisis. Labor is leaving future generations with more than $1 trillion in debt. And this government is the highest taxing government in Australian history.

Our country needs change. Only the Coalition has the strong leadership, strong team, and strong plan to restore Australians’ standard of living and protect our way of life.

“Our vision is for an Australia where anyone, no matter their background, can dream big and get ahead through hard work.”

OUR PLAN FOR LOWER TAXES

We will stop Labor’s assault on aspiration by axing every one of Labor’s toxic taxes, introducing the Tax Back Guarantee, and backing small businesses.

Labor’s Budget is an assault on aspiration, and under Labor, the cost of everything is going up. Anthony Albanese’s broken promises on capital gains, trusts, and negative gearing mean all Australians pay more.

OUR PLAN FOR CHEAPER POWER

Australians are paying the price for Labor’s reckless energy and emissions policies.

Under Labor, power prices are far too high. The Coalition will scrap Net Zero and make Australia an energy superpower. We will deliver cheaper power and energy abundance

OUR PLAN FOR LESS MIGRATION AND MORE HOMES

The Coalition will link Australia’s migration intake to the number of new homes built.

To free-up housing stock and to begin to restore the dream of home ownership, we will cap immigration numbers based on available housing.

A Coalition Government will overhaul our skilled migration program, bringing in the people with the skills that businesses desperately need.

OUR PLAN TO PUT AUSTRALIANS FIRST

Because of Labor’s out-of-control spending, Australians are paying more for everything due to high inflation and our debt is set to hit $1 trillion for the first time.

We will establish a Future Generations Fund to pay down Labor’s trillion dollars of debt and invest in long-lasting, nation-building infrastructure – roads, ports, energy and water.

What’s Next

Our team is hard at work developing policies to benefit you and your family.

Keeping Australians Safe

Our first job is to keep you safe. The world is more dangerous now. So we will build a strong defence force that can act fast and hit hard. We will deliver AUKUS. We will guard our borders. And we will keep our streets safe from crime, terror and foreign threats.

Offer families choice

Families know what works for them. So we will give them choice. In childcare, we will back what suits each family, not just one type. In health, we will focus on you and your whole-of-life health. In aged care, we will give respect, care and dignity — and better value for taxpayers.

Raise education standards

Every child deserves a great education. We will get the basics right: reading, writing, maths and going to school. We will be honest about how kids are doing. And we will back trades and training, not just university. That way, every young person is ready for a good job and a good life.

Encourage work ahead of welfare

Work is the best way out of hardship. It gives people dignity. So we will reward those who work and try. We will let people earn more before their payments drop. We will back work and families over long-term welfare. No Australian should have to beg to get help.

Restore Australia’s self-confidence

We stand for national confidence. We are proud of our country: our history, our values and the things that unite us. We back the enterprise of our people. And we expect those who come here to embrace our way of life.

A stronger Regional Australia

Australia is stronger when our regions are strong. Regional Australia fuels, feeds and powers our nation and drives exports. We will back the towns, councils and industries that create secure jobs: with better roads, services, manufacturing, childcare and connectivity. We will establish a $20 billion Regional Australia Future Fund, protect the Murray–Darling Basin, and end Labor’s water buybacks that strip water from farms and towns.

I was very blessed to grow up in a loving family. My Dad taught me the value of hard work, family and doing your bit for others.

I’m very proud to be his son. And I love being a dad.

Happy Father’s Day to all!

A Labor tax backdown is good news.

But when small businesses have already spent thousands responding to their tax changes, you have to wonder what Jim Chalmers has in store next.

Small businesses need certainty, not more tax surprises.
Australians are paying for Labor’s spending through higher taxes, higher interest costs and a cost-of-living crisis that keeps dragging on.

Our Plan will prevent government from spending faster than the economy is growing.
Every Australian who is forced to drop their private health cover puts more pressure on our already stretched public hospitals.

A criminal industry is thriving on our streets. It’s time to take back control.
Aussie engineering ingenuity is at the forefront of nuclear technology development and has $138 billion in letters of intent from international customers.

But sadly, in Australia, this revolutionary technology couldn't be used, because Labor refuses to lift the ban on nuclear.
Local businesses shouldn’t be collateral damage in organised crime.

The Coalition will kill the illicit tobacco market, crack down on criminals and stop the firebombings on our streets.

For 125 years, the Australian National Flag has flown as a proud symbol of our nation, our people and the values we share.

Under this flag, generations of Australians have served our country, defended our freedoms, built stronger communities and stood by one another through war, hardship and natural disaster.

It has flown above Australians striving, achieving and serving - at home and around the world.

Today, on Australian National Flag Day, we honour all those who came before us, give thanks for the country they helped build, and look with confidence to Australia’s future.

May our flag always remind us of the freedom, opportunity and responsibility we share as Australians.
Australia’s illicit tobacco market is a serious organised crime problem. We’re going to kill it.
Today is National Flag Day and the 125th anniversary of when our national flag was first flown over the dome of Melbourne’s Exhibition Building that was the site of our first Commonwealth Parliament.

Our national flag embodies our history, story, geography, institutions, traditions, values, people, deeds and achievements. The Southern Cross is a reminder of our place in the world.

The Union Jack is a reminder of our British heritage and the Christian ethos that forged a modern nation and democracy. The seven-pointed Federation Star – six points for our six states and a seventh point for our territories – is a reminder of our unity.

When we look at our national flag, we’re reminded of our common citizenship and shared values that transcend our differences. We feel gratitude for our forebears – Indigenous Australians, migrants who came here and made Australia their home, and generations born here – who built our nation, strengthened it in times of peace and defended it in times of war.

We feel appreciation for being Australian. And as citizens, we feel a responsibility to pass on to future generations of Australians a better country than the one gifted to us.

I will always stand in front of our one national flag because I love this country, because our nation is worth celebrating, because unity matters, and because Australia is worth fighting for, now more than ever.
Labor has delivered a trifecta of failure on housing: fewer homes, higher rents and first home owners whose homes are now worth less than their loans. And Labor thinks this is a good thing…
