About James

James Stevens is the Federal Member for Sturt.

Before entering Parliament in 2019, James was the Chief of Staff to then South Australian Premier Steven Marshall.

James is an experienced and driven South Australian leader with a strong connection to the electorate of Sturt and its many communities.

He has had a distinguished professional career both in politics and privately, holding positions of Commercial Manager and General Manager for Michell Wool.

Since entering Parliament, James has championed local upgrades on behalf of the community where he grew up and lives.
