Warren Mundine grew up in country New South Wales, the 9th of 11 children. He has lived over half his life in regional Australia and is passionate about jobs and economic opportunities in Australia’s regions. His mother’s family are Yuin people from the South Coast. Warren’s grandfather’s and his people come from Moruya and his grandmother’s people are from Kiama. Warren has spent most of his life dedicated to helping Australia’s most disadvantaged people to have economic opportunities. He was raised to believe that, no matter what obstacles facing you, there is no limit to what you can achieve. Warren has over 40 years’ experience in roles across the highest levels of government, business, and the community sector. Through this work he has been recognised for distinguished service to the community as a leader in Aboriginal affairs and an advocate for enhancing both economic and social outcomes for Aboriginal people. Warren believes that small business is the backbone of Australia’s economy, especially in Australia’s regions and will strongly back the more than 15,000 small businesses in Gilmore. He has successfully invested his own time and money in generating business opportunities for young Australians right across our nation. He will fight for much needed infrastructure, including vital upgrades to the Princes Highway and delivery of the new Nowra Bridge. Warren Mundine needs your support to make sure our region gets its fair share, and to stop locals from the impact of Labor’s new taxes which will hurt retirees, mum and dad investors, small businesses and our economy.
