Biography

Jim Grayden and his family have a long association with the Perth electorate stretching back over 120 years. He has a long record of community service supporting veterans and senior citizens.

With qualifications and experience in a broad range of industries - agriculture, education and business, Jim has worked in schools in the Perth electorate and has managed a family-owned business based in Perth for the past 20 years. Jim understands the challenges that small businesses face and the importance of a strong representative in parliament.

Married and with young adult children at both school and university, Jim is keenly aware of the challenges affecting families and the associated impact of government policy.

Jim supports a global transition to a renewable energy economy, the social and economic opportunities such a transition will present and the prosperity of current and future generations that will be secured.
