Biography

Jacqui Munro is your Liberal Candidate for Sydney.

Jacqui was drawn to the exciting energy and vibrancy of the city as a teenager, moving to Sydney when she was studying a Bachelor of International Studies at the University of Sydney.

Jacqui has been an effective advocate for the issues people in Sydney care about, campaigning on a national level as part of the media team for the Australian Marriage Equality campaign as well as being a proud organiser of the Liberal Party’s Mardi Gras parade float, celebrating the Party’s support for individual freedom of expression.

She volunteers locally at Green Park in Darlinghurst, serving homemade meals to patrons for One Meal – It Makes A Difference, a charity that she also serves as a Board Director.

Helping to build a stronger local community is one of the reasons why Jacqui feels passionately about representing the people in the city that she loves.

Jacqui will fight to make sure that taxes stay low so that people in Sydney keep more of what they earn and will back local small businesses to create more jobs. She understands that small businesses are the lifeblood of Sydney.

As part of the Morrison Liberal Team, Jacqui will work to build a stronger economy, so we can guarantee the essential services that our community relies upon and secure Sydney’s future.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who put in countless hours this campaign.
