At the 2019 federal election, some outstanding Liberal women were elected to Parliament. Of the 14 new Liberal Members elected, 7 were women and 7 were men.

However, we need to do much more to increase the number of Liberal women in Parliament.

Every dollar donated to the Enid Lyons Fighting Fund supports the campaigns of Liberal women in key seats.

Dame Enid Lyons was the first woman elected to the House of Representatives and the first woman in Federal Cabinet (as Vice-President of the Executive Council in 1949).

Dame Enid Lyons demonstrated passion, capability and drive and blazed the trail for other strong Liberal women.
