Matthew Evans is the Liberal candidate for Bendigo.

Matt is a local Councillor for the City of Greater Bendigo, representing the Eppalock Ward.

He was sworn in as Deputy Mayor in November 2021, the youngest person to have held the role.

Matt also works as an events and marketing coordinator for a local school.

Matt is passionate about the Bendigo community.

Matt and his wife are proud to call Bendigo their home. He is a self-confessed foodie and enjoys playing local footy and cricket.
