Biography

Bridget Archer is the Federal Member for Bass.

Bridget moved to Ravenswood from southern Tasmania at an early age and is incredibly proud of the Northern Tasmania region, where she lives with her husband and five children on a family farm in George Town.

As a local Member of Parliament, Bridget is helping northern Tasmania to establish itself as a centre for innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship.

Bridget holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Certificate in International Politics and has worked in hospitality, administration and agriculture. Before entering Parliament, she was the George Town Mayor and a farmer.

Bridget understands the needs of regional communities and is a strong advocate for northern Tasmania.
