Union Bosses attack Selfish and Misguided

The union bosses’ attempts to cause mass disruption in Victoria on Australia Day are selfish and misguided Shadow Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations Senator Eric Abetz said.

“For the union bosses to put themselves above our national celebration of who we are and what we stand for shows just how out of touch they are with public sentiment,” Senator Abetz said.

“Australia Day is about celebrating the good things we enjoy in Australia and here we have the union bosses wanting to put on public display their ugly side by disrupting family and community activities.”

“The union bosses must come to their senses and cancel the planned disruption,” Senator Abetz concluded.
