Coalition Campaign Spending - less than $0 per day
15/08/10
Labor’s calculations of the Coalition’s policies released today are a fiction.
Rather than continuing to peddle mistruths about our commitments, Wayne Swan should answer the question he refuses to: did he leak the alleged Treasury note to the media last week?
Net spending by the Coalition will not add one single cent to the budget bottom line – in fact, by election day, our net spending in the campaign will be less than $0 per day - we will deliver real savings.
In contrast, Labor has created Australia’s biggest ever budget deficit since WWII.
If Labor is elected, the cost of living will increase dramatically because Labor will impose a mining tax and a carbon tax – a great big tax on everything.
Labor will never deliver a surplus because it cannot stop its reckless spending – as seen by the money it has been throwing around this election in the hope of sand-bagging up its marginal seats.
The only way to reduce debt, and stop the taxes, waste and incompetence is to vote Labor out.
